Hello my lovelies

After surfing the web for crafty ideas I discovered a fantastic website/app Brit and Co. It's great it's got loads of DIY projects , recipes , gadget ideas and styling ideas. 

I just can't get enough of it! I've been so inspired that I've been busy working on some new items which ill be posting in the next couple if weeks. 

I'm also planning to sell at the following markets :

21 September -  North Rocks Public school

25 October - Moonlight markets Denistone East Public School

16 November - Arcadia markets public school.

ROYAL EASTER SHOW AND MARKETS

Wow what a whirl wind past couple of months it's been.

I entered theArts and Craft competition off the Royal Easter Show and entered 5 categories :
1. To create a cloth doll suitable for a young child
2. Design a cloth doll
3. Design a teddy bear undressed only a ribbon
4. Innovative soft toy
5. Innovative apron
To my surprise all my entries were displayed at the show behind the big lovely glass cabinets !

To my even greater surprise my entry for 'Soft doll suitable for young child' I received a lovely maroon ribbon with HIGHLY COMMENDED PRIZE . When I found out I was jumping up and down! It's been a while since I've officially won something. I was and am so proud of myself.

As I mentioned in my last blog I wax going to hit the markets. Well I did and I had a week to prepare for The Dreamers Markets at paramatta Riverside Theatre .

I went solo this time and enjoyed the peace and quiet while hubby took the kids bowling and a pub lunch ( I was secretly envious of the pub lunch but at least i didn't have to deal with the winging )
The day was bright and very sunny s perfect day for a market.
My best sellers were my pencil pals , zip purses and appliqué key rings.


My next markets will be at Arcadia Public School markets on Saturday 4th may from 9-3pm.

I won't be going this one solo. My back up will be my husband Spike and daughter Erica. My two older boys will be playing soccer.

A NEW YEAR - NEW CHARACTERS AND NO SNAKES AS YET......

Hello my lovelies

A lot has happened since my last entry. I had a beautiful baby girl named Erica Sophia. She was born with black hair and has naturally blossomed into a strawberry blonde! Erica is now 18 months ...gee time flies!

So now Im back on track. I've made some new items to the site - fabric covered journals. They come in landscape and portrait size with blank white pages. Great for doodling at home, school or even the office. I made afew as christmas gifts for my husbands work colleges and the ladies absolutely loved them.       I have also added zip up purses and fabric appliqued key rings.

My two sons also got onto the creative wagon and designed some dollies for their little sister. They chose the fabrics , trims and buttons.  Max called his dolly 'Millie' and Stanley called his dolly 'Pinkie Pencil'. I made another set for the shop. Let me know what you think i'd love to hear your comments.

I'm planning on hitting the markets again. My husband Spike will be selling if I'm not there but he'll be happy to help and answer all of your questions. Ill post venues and keep you all posted.

NEW PRICES AND BALMAIN MARKETS

Hello my Lovely Jovely's !

A lot of new things have happened since my last entry.

There are NEW PRICES ON WEBSITE, which I'm sure you will all get excited about (all prices still include delivery for local Australian delivery and International will need to be confirmed)
...
After Matilda Markets I decided to find a market to sell my little friends and other lovely items which are not not all on the website.
So EVERY SATURDAY (except today- thinking it would rain all day) I'll be at BALMAIN MARKET located at St Andrews Church Balmain corner of Balmain street and Curtin Road opposite The London Hotel. there is a photo of my little friends displayed at balmain markets on the Balmain Market facebook page - so check it out!

So if you see a pregnant lady at the Lovely-jovely stall that's me! Yes i'm now 6 months pregnant!

I have a few more new friends besides the regulars on the website which are Gerty the red chicken, Mr Miagi as mentioned in my previous blog and a few more new girls. As Easter is coming up I have also made some bags with rabbits faces great for easter bag fillers! Placing books or Easter eggs and other goodies for the kids. The bag measures 32cm x 30cm with handles 18cm handles. I have also made bags with toy soldiers and wacky computer like aliens.

Matilda markets - Paddington Townhall

Well I've been quite a busy bee since my last blog.

Between making a wedding dress for a friend, trying to tackle a very part time tupperware business and finishing Ninja Jono's friend Mr Miagi, I am getting myself organized to set up shop at Matilda Markets at Paddington Town Hall in Sydney on Saturday 30th October 2010. Mind you I am also jetting off to Hawaii for a good friends wedding this Sunday for 9 days - child and husband free! So a relaxing holiday! So when I get back I'll be all refreshed and rearing to go.....

NINJA JOHNO

Hey there well as requested I will be introducing a new character each blog and any additional friends that might come for a visit.

Well I would like to introduce Ninja Johno.

Ninja Johno is your typical Ninja.

One day he's up to no good then he's out there fighting crime when another Ninja is in need !

Johno enjoys midnight strolls in the park and a delectable sushimi finished with a Tiramisu and a  short black!

As the Karate Kid craze hits the cinema as too are Johno's new friends : Mr Han (Miyagi) and Dre (Daniel) Parker soon to be released in the next week and added onto the website for purchasing.

Until then. As Johno would say Haaaaaaayaaahhhh!

SALES ALREADY

Hey there well its been a great week. Just put the website on Facebook and I've already received 24 members. Thanks again for your support guys. Since launching the website last week I've already had 5 orders come through being Lurgi as a big  favourite selling 2, Antique Rose, Mopp and Trev.
On my next blog I'll be introducing my friends, to give you an insight on who they are and what they love.
